The agreement between you and HinduPooja when you use our site.
Last updated: September 7, 2026
Welcome to HinduPooja.net (“HinduPooja”, “we”, “us”). By accessing or using the site you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
HinduPooja is a marketplace that helps families discover and book verified Hindu priests and temples for ceremonies. Priests and temples are independent providers, not employees or agents of HinduPooja. We facilitate the connection and coordination; the ceremony itself is performed by the provider.
When you submit a booking request, we work to match you with a suitable provider and confirm timing and details. A booking is confirmed only once we (or the provider) confirm it to you. Ceremony details, timing and dakshina (fees) may be adjusted by mutual agreement.
Payments are made by Zelle, either to HinduPooja or directly to the provider, as indicated for your booking. You are responsible for paying the agreed amount to secure your booking. Refunds and cancellations are handled case by case; contact us as early as possible if your plans change.
You may sign in using Google or a one-time email code. You are responsible for keeping access to your email/account secure and for activity under your account. Provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
If you list a profile, you confirm you are authorised to offer the services described, that your content is accurate and lawful, and that you will honour confirmed bookings. Profile content may be reviewed before publishing. We may decline, edit or remove profiles or listings at our discretion.
The HinduPooja name, logo and site content are owned by us or our licensors. Content you submit remains yours, but you grant us a licence to host and display it as needed to operate the service.
The site and services are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the availability, conduct, or outcome of any provider’s services, or that muhurat/scheduling will suit every requirement. Ceremonies are performed by independent providers, and we are not responsible for their acts or omissions.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, HinduPooja is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for amounts exceeding the fees you paid to HinduPooja for the relevant booking.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the site after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
