- Information you provide — your name, email, phone/WhatsApp number, city, and details of the ceremony you request (tradition, language, preferred dates, notes).
- Account & sign-in — if you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address and profile photo from Google. If you use email code sign-in, we store your email to send a one-time code. We never receive or store your Google password.
- Priest/temple profiles — if you list a profile, the content you submit (description, services, photos, links, timings) which is intended to be shown publicly.
- Usage data — standard log and analytics data (pages viewed, approximate location, device/browser) via Google Analytics to understand and improve the site.
How we use your information
- To match you with an appropriate priest or temple and coordinate your booking.
- To communicate with you about your requests, bookings, sign-in codes and service updates.
- To operate, secure and improve the site and our services.
- To display public priest/temple profiles you choose to publish.
How we share information
- With priests and temples — to fulfil a booking, we share the details needed to perform the ceremony (your name, contact and ceremony details) with the matched provider.
- Service providers — we use trusted vendors for email delivery, analytics and hosting, who process data only on our behalf.
- Payments — payments are made directly by Zelle to the provider or to HinduPooja. We do not collect or store your bank or card numbers.
- Legal — we may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights and users.
We do not sell your personal information.

We use cookies and Google Analytics (GA4) to measure traffic and improve the experience. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
Data retention & security
We keep your information for as long as needed to provide our services and meet legal obligations, then delete or anonymise it. We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data, though no method of transmission is 100% secure.
